About us
Merryn Rock are mother and daughter duo, Lynne and Claire, both inspired by their love of the sea and South West coastline of England.
Merryn Rock Jewellery embodies the sea and coastline of Cornwall and beyond within an organic, yet contemporary, luxe aesthetic. Combining modern and ancient techniques, each piece captures the natural beauty of a coastline that has been crafted by the sea over many years, including rugged granite cliffs, shells, seaglass and prehistoric ammonite fossils from the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.
Lynne is also an established local artist, well-known for her mixed media collage semi-abstract paintings. Her works are inspired by life, people, places, the warmth of the sun and the music of the sea. Her artwork is particularly inspired by the magic of St Ives. It’s deep past of artistic history, harbour, cottages, cobbled narrow streets, gallery’s, working studios and of course the wonderful Light Of St Ives!
